NEW FACTORY SOFT INAUGURATION

The new plant of Arabian Power Electronics Company located in Industrial Area 3, Dammam has started its operations following a soft-inauguration function on Friday 5th July 2019. The inaugural ceremony of the plant was commenced with ribbon cutting by Dr. Siddeek Ahmed, Chairman & Managing Director, Eram Group and Shop Floor Inauguration & Ribbon Cutting done by Dr. Sattam Al Omairy, Director, APEC.

The inaugural meeting started with welcome address by Mr. Abdul Razack, Group CEO, Eram Group.  Mr. Jacob Thomas, Business Unit Head of APEC gave opening remarks and spoke about the birth of APEC and how it grew to a market leader today.  Inaugural address was given by Dr. Siddeek Ahmed, CMD, Eram Group. In his brief speech, he expressed his vision behind establishing the first Power Electronic manufacturer of Saudi Arabia.

Mr. Saad Al Shahrani (Chairman, Saudi Council of Engineers), Mr. Rizwan Ahmed (Director, Eram Group), Mr. Elio Maggi (Exe. Board Member, Eram Group), Engr. Mohd Al Shallali (Exe. Board Member, Eram Group), Mr. Abdullah Al Ajmi (Corporate Affairs Manager, APEC) also addressed the function. Mr. Madhu R Krishnan (Group Director, Eram Group) offered a vote of thanks to all the well-wishers of APEC and the Group for their constant support during the past 8 years.

As Vision 2030 demands the development of a more stable energy sector with localization of the technology, APEC is close to achieving this through the process of transferring power electronics technology to the kingdom. The facility is completely designed and constructed for the future. Its position and proximity to the upcoming King Salman Energy Park, which is going to be the epicenter of global Industries, will help turn the spotlight on APEC- the indigenous manufacturer.
